Reduced Fat Creamy Primo Ham & Broccoli Fettuccine
Cooking Time: 15 mins, Serves: 4
Ingredients
275g thinly sliced Primo leg ham
400g broccoli
375ml evaporated skim milk
250g low fat cottage cheese
2tsp flat leaf parsley, chopped
1tbs plain flour
100g parmesan cheese, grated
400g dried fettuccine
Freshly ground black pepper
1. Steam the broccoli florets for 4 mins.
2. In a small pot, make a paste by adding the evaporated skim milk to the
flour a little at a time. Add the rest of the milk and the cottage cheese
and blend
with a barmix.
3. Cook, stiring, over a med-low heat for 10 mins, not letting the sauce
boil.
4. Meanwhile cook the pasta in boiling, salted water to packet directions.
5. Cut the ham into ribbons and add to the sauce together with the parmesan
cheese, parsley and black pepper.
6. Spoon over hot, drained pasta. Sprinkle with parmesan and serve.
