Primo Quality Meats is the meat division of Primo Smallgoods employing over 500 people at its world class process facilities in Scone and Port Wakefield.
The Port Wakefield abattoir is the most modern state of the art pig processing plant in Australia processing in excess of 10,000 pigs per week for both the retail and wholesale trade as well as major export markets.
Scone abattoir is currently supplying 3 species to all major retail outlets as well as the wholesale and food service industry. In addition to this Scone is also supplying pork and beef to most major Asian and South African markets. Scone abattoir is also a supplier of retail ready trays to the retail sector making it one of the most diverse abattoirs in Australia.
